ਜੇ ਸਬਦੁ ਬੁਝੈ

ਕਰ ਬਿਨੁ ਵਾਜਾ
ਪਗ ਬਿਨੁ ਤਾਲਾ ||
कर बिनु वाजा
पग बिनु ताला ॥
kar binu vaajaa pag binu taalaa ||
Hands without the musical instrument, feet without the beat,
ਜੇ ਸਬਦੁ ਬੁਝੈ
ਤਾ ਸਚੁ ਨਿਹਾਲਾ ||
जे सबदु बुझै
ता सचु निहाला ॥
je sabadu bujhai taa sachu nihaalaa ||
When Sabad is resolved then truth reveals.

The reverend Gurdev is singing. Sabad is resolved without vaajaa and the beat.
The raagee is acting resolving Sabad with musical instrument and beat. Why?

God, the truth is realized by resolving the Sabad. God is not realized by carrying a music instrument in hands or moving feet with beats of music.
Gurdev is clarifying this. When Sabad is resolved then truth reveals.
